Intensive week – during winter retreat
The daily schedule during the intensive week of the winter retreat is different from all the other weeks of the retreat. For 6 nights there is an extra 3×50 minutes of sitting, which means that practice lasts until midnight. On the last night of the intensive week, an additional 50 minutes of sitting meditation is added with an additional set of walking meditation lasting until 4 am. The day after the intensive week participants are allowed to rest from the morning until dinner.
Participation at the intensive week requires physical and mental preparation.
Our intensive week is held on the 7th week of the winter retreat.
Conditions for participation: Participants are not allowed to exit or enter during this time.
