Intermediate Zen Retreat – 18-21 April 2024

Dear Applicants!

We are organizing  intermediate meditation practice from 18.04.2024 (Thursday, 4 p.m.) to 21-04.2024 (Sunday, 2 p.m.) at the Original Light Zen Temple.

For this retreat we can only accept applications from those who have already been to our Temple at least three times for a one-day Zen event or a beginner’s Zen camp! 

The program is in Hungarian, the most important instructions can be translated into English.

• 05:00 Morning songs
• 06:00 40′ sitting meditation
• 07:00 Breakfast (Formal 4 bowl)
• 07:40 Work
• 09:00 2×40′ sitting meditation
• 11:00 Food offering ceremony
• 12:00 Lunch  (Formal 4 bowl)
• 14:00 2×40′ sitting meditation
• 17:00 Dinner  (Formal 4 bowl)
• 18:30 Evening songs
• 19:00 2×40′ sitting meditation
• 20:30 Four Great Bodhisattva Vows
• 22:00 Power out

Participation is only possible for the duration of the entire retreat. The program may vary depending on the situation.

The self-cost fee of the event (for the 3 full days) is 120 EUR/Person/3 days. We provide three vegetarian meals a day during the retreat.
